Automatic door installs for aluminium and shopfront companies

You sold the shopfront. The automatic door is the part nobody on your crew sets up. We fit and commission the operator, you keep the client.

Short answer: we install and commission automatic sliding and swing operators for the trade from $650 per door, GST included, with your operator and glass on site. We work under your name on your job, and we don't approach your client.

What we do

  • Fit the operator head, tracks, carriers and floor guides
  • Hang and adjust the panels (yours, framed or frameless)
  • Wire the low-voltage side: sensors, buttons, key switch, lock
  • Commission, set speeds and forces, and run the AS 5007 safety checks
  • Hand you a short sign-off sheet for your client file

What we need from you

  • Operator brand and model, so we know the system before we arrive
  • Opening sizes and a photo of the head detail
  • 240 V supply to the head by your electrician (we don't do fixed wiring)
  • Glass on site, made to the operator system's deductions

Glass

If you need the toughened panels too, we can supply them made to the operator deductions: clear, low-iron, laminated or tinted, 10 or 12 mm. Ask when you send the job.

Questions

Which brands do you install?

Most mainstream residential and light-commercial operators. Tell us the model when you send the job and we confirm before booking.

Do you service doors you did not install?

Yes, as long as parts are available for that system. Older doors with discontinued boards are quoted case by case.

How quickly can you book?

Usually within one to two weeks, including Saturdays.

Who is responsible for the electrical supply?

Your electrician. A registered electrical contractor has to run the 240 V supply to the operator; we do everything on the low-voltage side.
